Meet Annie
Annie Chang is a Physician Assistant at Advanced Dermatology's Katy and Sugar Land locations. Annie is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is originally from the Houston area. She attended high school at St. Agnes Academy and then graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She went on to obtain a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. Annie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. Before obtaining her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology in the Medical Center.
In addition to her background in nutrition, Annie has always had a strong interest in skincare and preventative medicine through lifestyle and diet. Building a strong relationship with every patient is an integral part of her practice. She has been practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology since 2019 and regularly pursues continuing medical education courses to provide the highest quality care for her patients.
She is also currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Association of Physician Assistants, and Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association. In her free time, Annie enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with her husband, two boys, and English bulldog, Rex.
