What is Telemedicine
Advanced Dermatology’s Telemedicine Program allows Board Certified Dermatologists to provide you with the best dermatological care regardless of your physical location. You are able to access and interact with your Dermatologist from the convenience of your home or wherever you may be. Your Telemedicine appointment is delivered through a platform called Zoom. Zoom is a video conferencing platform used for your virtual office visit. The Zoom video conferencing platform is HIPAA compliant to ensure your security and privacy.
If you are accessing from iPhone or iPad you will be prompted to download the Zoom App from your App store to gain access to your virtual appointment. Once you have downloaded the App, you will select ‘Join a meeting’ and type in the meeting ID provided in the email.
If you are using a desktop, you will click on the link that is emailed to you to gain access to your video appointment.
Scheduling Your Appointment

You are able to choose your preferred dermatologist. Upon scheduling your Telemedicine appointment, a link to access your appointment will be emailed to you. On the day and time of your appointment you will simply click the link that was emailed to you to access your video appointment with your dermatologist.
What to Expect
During your telemedicine appointment, your dermatologist will provide a virtual office visit examination and discuss treatment plan options with you.

You are able to use your smartphone, tablet or personal computer with video and audio capability.
