Dear Patient,

As a valued member of our Advanced Dermatology community, we appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you about how we are addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

We are closely monitoring events in our local community, the nation and worldwide and continually updating our policies and protocols according to new information. Please know that in addition to our existing stringent protocols for maintaining a clean and sterile practice, our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and team member health. We feel confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing dermatology care in the safe and high-quality manner you expect and deserve.

Our highest priority is to keep everyone as safe as possible, including both patients and staff. Therefore, at the recommendation of CDC we will be screening patients by asking:

  • Do you have fever OR respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath?
  • AND
  • Have you traveled to an affected geographic area within 14 days of symptom onset? (China, Iran, S. Korea, Europe, cruise ship or high risk sites in U.S.)
  • OR
  • Have you had close contact with a person who traveled to high risk sites or has COVID-19?

  • If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please call Advanced Dermatology at 281-665-4444 PRIOR to your appointment so that we can discuss with a physician how best to take care of you. Should you arrive at the office and meet these criteria, you will be isolated or asked to return to your car and call our office for a telemedicine assessment, so we do not expose other patients and staff.

Additionally, you may schedule or convert your in-office appointment to an on-line ‘telemedicine’ appointment where you can access your doctor and discuss your condition by phone or video call.

Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty as we navigate this situation together.

    Sincerely,
    Advanced Dermatology
