Very accommodating and very nice! It was my first time coming to this dermotologist and I felt very welcomed. Some people think that if its fancy its good, it doesnt take a mansion to make you feel at home. With that being said it is not a dirty, torn down, whole in the wall kind of place. I would say it is a wholesome environment. Staff was very nice and knew what they were doing and if they didnt know they asked. They were very understanding and got right to the point in the best way. I have been getting shots for my skin at another dermatologist and was NOT pleased with there service. So I wanted to switch to advanced dermatology which would take some time trying to get my information from my previous doctors office. With that I also got pregnant so had to stop my shots and stopped going to the dr all together. With all that time they still had my information on file and ready for me to call when I was ready. I finally called yesterday and got an appointment as soon as the next day at a convenient time available! From the service I had before , this is stress free amazing service. No bad vibes so far at all ! More

Dr Kelly Dunkin has been my dermatologist for at least 20 years. She has seen at least three of my children and a spouse. I have seen Dr Dunkin every year to give me an overall skin check. She is conservative, very personable, very professional, and has a heart 💜 of gold for her patients. . To say that she totally cares about her patients, is an understatement. She’s a successful doctor for a reason and you’ll be super happy with her office staff also. They are attentive, caring & kind. I never feel rushed at my appointments or in my decisions for skin care choices or alternatives. I’ve been super satisfied all these years, enough to travel 3 hrs to see her each year. We were here to establish care for my 45 years old developmentaly disabled daughter with a history if melanoma and breat cancer. We were treated very well by all the staff. The wait was reasonable and the waiting area was clean and nicely furnished. The nurse and Doctor were through in their questions and exam and we left with a reminder to have a whole body check once a year. They did a biopsy on my daughters arm and we return in 6 weeks. It took some time to establish the complete removal of the cancer tissue, but my arm got dressed and we could leave for a bit. Dr Au did an amazing job in stitching the wound, there will be minimal scarring. More

I've been seeing Dr. Duncan for 15 years for psoriasis, regular skin checks and the occasional cancer, and some cosmetic fun stuff. I haven't had the fun cosmetic stuff in years, but I'm every couple of months on schedule for psoriasis and skin checks. I've battled psoriasis my entire life - and Dr. Duncan is right there battling along with me. Anyone with severe psoriasis, knows the kind of war I'm talking about, and she is the only doctor that hasn't given up, tries the latest therapies, works with my insurance (a battle in itself) and is concerned with my overall health in addition to the psoriasis. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Duncan and Advanced Dermatology. Sometimes the wait is longer than I like, but it's worth it. She's thorough in the exam, and sometimes we find a therapy that works for a few years, and I'm clear. Then the war starts again, as is the nature of the beast. As for cosmetic fun stuff, she's brilliant at making me appear refreshed, not puffed up and plastic. I made a mistake once and had Botox from a plastic surgeon. NEVER again will I let anyone touch my face except Dr. Duncan. Dr. Duncan makes me feel beautiful and healthy in my crazy skin. More

I totally recommend this Dermatology Clinic. Everyone was very friendly. We were taken right in which is a huge plus. The NP that saw me was extremely nice and professional. She took a biopsy to send out to the lab and I didn’t feel a thing. She recommended a cream to use for now. After a week of using the cream she ordered my rash is pretty much gone, so she knew pretty well what type of rash I had. I will continue to use Advanced Dermatology as long as I need a Dermatologist. More

However, I need to add special props to Patient Care Coordinator Jahira Garrett and Virginia Marx, RN, Nurse Practitioner.I can’t say enough good things about Ms Garrett.  She’s taken care of me for all of my appointments this year. She’s always so personable, reassuring, relatable and most importantly direct and honest.After needing some tweaking on a prior cosmetic procedure Ms Garrett got me in to an appointment quickly and well taken cared for by Ms Marx NP. Although I need a few more weeks to see the full results I’m already very pleased. More

I had a check up today with Dr. Nguyen. Before going to this appointment I read reviews about the Sugar Land and Katy locations. Contrary to some of the reviews I read, I felt Dr. Nguyen was extremely professional, thorough in her exam of my moles and complimentary towards me. Unlike the Sugar Land office, where I question why an assistant to a PA I used to see was not wearing gloves.. and also I felt like I upset the PA because after she removed a benign spot off my chest, it became infected and I felt like the PA was threatened by my questions about the infection and my complaint about the assistant not wearing gloves. Just decided I need to go to someone else. If someone is doing anything like numbing my skin for a biopsy( which was the procedure) I expect them to wear gloves. Very unprofessional. I did go back one time to the Sugar Land location and saw someone else, who I liked, but this time they had no openings when I needed to be seen on my time frame but the Katy location had an opening . Things happen for a reason, and I’m glad I ended up with Dr. Nguyen at Katy Advanced Dermatology! More
