Had Mohs surgery. They brought into the procedure room right on schedule and did the procedure. Got the results back in about an hour and stitched up the incision. Great job. Only complaint was the chairs in the waiting room are uncomfortable. More

I have had great experiences with all the staff at Advanced Dermatology in League City and Pearland. Recently a kind person on the phone listened well to my concerns (insurance questions and timing of procedure) and communicated promptly with whom ever she needed. My insurance questions were answered and I was offered an earlier appointment. Dr. Au did my MOHS procedure just a few days ago. He and Daisy (a nurse or PA?) were friendly, helpful and competent. They answered my questions and got me out quickly. I’d highly recommend them. More

Just had basal cell carcinoma mohs surgery. Dr. Pelster is exemplary and his bedside manner is fun, kind and he answered all my questions. His Surgical Assistant Kristein was professional and kind. More

Dr. Michael Pelster performed Mohs surgery on my 80+ year old Mom. The staff was knowledgeable and caring. They looked after her throughout the procedure. Dr. Pelster’s chair side manner was personable, informative and kind. The first extraction resulted in clean margins but left an 8-9mm hole above my Mom lip. What happened after that was the work of a talented surgeon. Dr. Plester placement of the sutures was very thought out and ended beautifully. The scars are almost undetectable. Not only are we pleased with Dr. Pelster’s clinical skills, he returned my call the same day… very impressive. More

In Nov. 2018, Dr Pelster did Mohs surgery on my face. He and Liz (his surgical nurse) were great! They made me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me. They allowed me to play “my music” and even sang along on a song or two. They talked to me about day to day things, like a friend would. This helped me to relax, and not think about the surgery being done to my face. Dr Pelster closed the incisions in my natural cheek and lip lines. They gave clear post op instructions. Now 8 weeks post op, the scars are almost totally faded. Most people do not notice the scars at all. I highly recommend him and his staff. More

Kristein was very thorough, courteous & knowledgeable during the prep work & during the surgery assisting Dr. Pelster. He was very courteous & professional as he took time to discuss the surgery before starting & updating me with options during the steps of the surgery. I had the Mohs procedure on my face. As you can imagine I was concerned but not only was the procedure painless and the staff very helpful but the surgical site is barely visible and this is after only 8 weeks. I would highly recommend Dr Pelster and Mohs to anyone. More

My visit for Mohs surgery went very well, I was informed of what to expect and what will be done and the process involved. Everyone was polite, friendly and professional. Four weeks after surgery while following the instructions provided, the area where the basil cell was removed is healing very quickly and is hardly noticeable at this time. I have to say I was a little nervous going in for my MOHS procedure as the spot to be removed was on my face. However Dr. Pelster and his M.A. Liz made me feel as comfortable as possible. Trust me, when you have to have a procedure you want a staff that knows how to calm your nerves and let you know that everything is going to be fine. These two are the real deal!
